Our experience with Sunbrook Academy was extremely disappointing. On our son’s second day in the Jr. Toddler classroom, he sustained a head injury during the day. While I understand that accidents can happen with toddlers, what concerned us most was possible negligence and how the situation was handled afterward. When I arrived for pickup, I was not allowed to speak with the staff member who witnessed the incident, and I was also told that I could not view the video footage due to privacy policies. Me and my husband love Sunbrook family we been there forever thank you Ms. Seetha and Ms. Jasmine for helping my baby transition from infant to your class. You guys have been a great help. Sunbrook Academy at Barnes Mill has been such a blessing for our family! The Pre-K program is exactly what young scholars need to feel prepared for “big-kid school.” The teachers are kind, proactive, professional, and intentional in everything they do. I want to say thank you for giving me reassurance that this would be a great school for my child. We have experienced nothing but positivity, growth, and a new family, since enrolling here with you guys. Thanks to my child’s teacher Ms. Mingo and Ms. Malloy for handling my child’s social anxiety and giving her the confidence she needs to be amongst other children. This is a nice and clean facility.
My daughters were enrolled for a week until I unenrolled them! They were terrified of their teacher! “Ms. Mingo is mean” “Miss Mingo screams at us” were some comments my twin daughters made. Her assistant teacher Ms. Malloy was excellent which is why I am giving two stars! The building was clean and secure and everyone seemed friendly but my daughters being scared to go school is a nonnegotiable for me!
