My children love it here. The teachers are loving and patient, they truly care about each child’s well-being. Mrs. King, the director, is dedicated to making Sunbrook Academy even greater. Her leadership and commitment to the children and families are evident every day.

Monday, June 15th... was my 1 1/2 year old's first and last day at this daycare. While I don't expect perfection, I do expect the basics in child care. When my husband and I came to pick her up, we were looking through the window of the classroom .. and noticed that her eyes were puffy as if she had been crying all day, her nose was red, and she was just sitting in a chair at the table by herself looking miserable, looking down, and defeated. My child’s time here has been very short. I honestly enrolled my child for the commute for my new job. But with the few changes I have seen already, I can see things are changing for the better. I’ve had the opportunity to meet with the new director, Miss King. She seems to really care about what she does and has a true sense of passion. I had my child enrolled for summer school paying an in my opinion exhorbitant amount but I loved her teacher Imani and she did wonderful with her even though I butted heads with the aggression of the then director Nicole. Upon the final weeks of the summer I was informed that if she continued for the fall via the lottery program it would be free so I said let’s give it a try instead of taking her back to her regular school.
