I just recently bought a home with the help of Colorado Mortgage Team. They were great, but this lender (Sun West Mortgage) was an absolute pain in the ass. Very difficult to work with. My daughter has an open insurance claim from flooding. Because Sun West is the mortgage lender, they have stepped in and are "managing" the claim. Sun West is making us pay for everything upfront and then deciding if and when they will reimburse us. My daughter and her three young children had to move into an apartment because the house had no running water during the water mitigation and demolition phase.
