We had an amazing experience. From setting up the serivce when we first called, to the experience itself with Justin, it was all awesome. Justin took a good amount of time helping and educated us. So, as we got better we caught more fish. I highly encourage you to consider Sun Valley Outfitters and ask for Justin! Great time, great experience, we will be back for sure!
We booked a half-day fly fishing trip with Pete, and it was a five-star experience from start to finish! Pete was friendly, easygoing, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to teach us casting techniques and shared helpful tips that immediately improved our fishing. Our family of four spent a great morning with two guides, DJ and OC earlier this week. Weather and conditions were perfect for us. We were first timers. Both the guys did a great job of explaining what we needed to do and why, what to use for the type of water and fish. Casting, mending, catching and releasing were explained very well. Jeremy is probably the best guide I've ever been out with. He's friendly, affable, and conversationally engaging. He was prompt picking me and my fishing friend up, very knowledgeable about the Big Lost River system and took us to some fishy places; places that only an experienced guide would know about. JP and I both caught lots of fish, a few good ones , and opportunities at some real dandy's. We found Brennan to be an exceptional guide. He is both a great instructor and put us on fish. His personality and interaction with us over the 6 hour period was very educational and enjoyable. We would highly recommend him as a guide.
