We had a great time with our guide Raines on our first fly fishing experience. Raines was very knowledgeable, helpful and super patient with my sister and I as we familiarized ourselves with the process. Conversation was great, the weather spectacular, and fish were caught. It was a win all the way around! Thanks Raines! You were awesome! Also, we wanted to give a shout out to Peter. Peter helped us out at the outfitter shop and was super friendly and helpful. No doubt he would be a favorable guide as well. Thanks Peter!
Our group of 10 had 3 great guides. I was specifically impressed with Nate as his instruction was on point. He taught us how to fish while getting us on the fish. 6 caught countless bites. Great lunch Nate!

I had an amazing experience with Sun Valley Outfitters! From the moment I walked into their Ketchum shop, the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of tips for both beginners and seasoned anglers. I booked a guided fly-fishing trip, and our guide made the day so much fun—teaching casting techniques, sharing local secrets, and helping me land some beautiful trout. We had the best time ever learning to fly fish with Jeremy! Neither of us had fly fished before, and Jeremy was so helpful in teaching us the ropes. The whole trip was really well organized (the team communicated super well ahead of time to help organize a time and meeting spot beforehand), and the views from the river we went to were spectacular. Cannot recommend this group enough if you’re in Sun Valley looking for a fun half day experience! Thank you Jeremy!!
