Aloha, Sun and Salt Campervans was one of the best decisions my partner and I made when booking are trip to Big Island, Hawaii. We booked Shirley for 2 weeks and made are way around the island problem free. The price per day was very reasonable and most of the campsites throughout the island were beautiful. We've used Sun + Salt to see the big island twice now and I cannot recommend them enough. We've stayed in both Bertha and Betty, staying at hipcamps and county campgrounds around the whole island. Connor and Bri are great hosts, check in and out is easy. If you don't mind driving it's the absolute best way to see the island!
We had a wonderful time renting the Big Island Bertha camper van and driving around the big island for 12 days. It took us everywhere we needed to go including the national park and the remote areas in the area around Hilo. It was so nice to be able to stay in the camper van add interesting locations and hipcamps and not have to drive to an airbnb. It was such a joy camping with our family in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawai’i with this beautiful camper-van. Bri and Conner are amazing hosts, check in was easy, the van was clean, lots of storage and amenities, they truly thought of everything. I was shocked at how cozy the bed was! Thank you for making our getaway so special!
We rented all four vans over the christmas holidays as extra "rooms" for our family coming to visit and it worked great. We loved the vans and Bri and Connor were lovely to work with. Mahalo!
