I’ve been a long-time member of Sun Community Federal Credit Union and never expected to be treated the way I was over a simple $250 fraud dispute. I was scammed using Zelle — a growing issue across the country — and even after providing solid documentation, Sun Community denied my claim without even trying to resolve it with Zelle. I was told that because I “authorized” the payment, it didn’t qualify as fraud, despite the fact that I was tricked.
