Unfortunately, this bank is incredibly hard to work with. Their app consistently has "try again later" codes, and there is not customer service available on the weekends. They are often not helpful in branch and encourage you to go online. Additional requirements for cashing a check and other out of the ordinary barriers they put in place for making banking a straightforward process.
A fantastic bank with amazing staff. I've always been welcomed and accommodated while I've been here. I usually bring in large multi day deposits from my business and everyone has no problem helping me out quickly and efficiently. Today I had Nikki, Jose, and Lily all helping me at once and my deposit went by in a flash. The only downside to such speedy and considerate service is I didn't get to stay and chat longer. Quite unfriendly, lack consistent communication, and favoritism from the incompetent upper management— everyone I’ve spoke to about this bank has ultimately said the same thing about Summit. Shame since it’s a small bank too
If you’re looking for a reliable bank to partner up and effectively communicate with you for your business needs or a commercial loan, this bank is certifiably not one of them. By far one of the most unhelpful banks I’ve encountered in decades of business. One thing you can certainly count on them for is keeping you in an endless loop of call holds and emails.
