After much prayer and discussion, my sisters and I decided to move our oldest sister to Summit Place. I was encouraged by the feedback I received, and on April 20, 2026, I was able to visit the facility. After talking with Rebekah and Rashida, I was convinced that we made the right decision. Very kind, they let us bring our scout, troop and to sing Christmas carols to the people here
After researching and visiting several Gastonia assisted living homes, we found that Summit Place at Kings Mountain was THE best choice. The location is perfect as Summit Place sits in the country and is very peaceful. All of the staff were very professional and showed a caring, family type of love for my mom. We feel like our mom is taken care of and it provides comfort knowing she's in good hands.
