This place might look new and shiny, but the turnover and competency of the Managers is mind blowing. Multiple turnovers on the General Manager, Care Nurse, and many others. Communication lacks and don’t be fooled by the staff, as many of them aren’t even employed by Summit Heights. While visiting our loved ones many staff admitted they weren’t employee and worked for agencies.. and no they were not from LHIN or CCAC. What a beautiful and welcoming place to spend your “golden” years. The premises and accommodations are first class, and the friendly and professional staff make you feel at home. I have visited my friend there and I got envious of the beauty and comfort. I was very impressed by the person (LIsa M) whom showed me your establishment.Great Personality.

I live in a different Retirement home and when visiting a close friend who moved to Summit Heights, I was blown away by the architecture and amenities. It's modern and very attractive. I found the staff to be welcoming, helpful and very friendly. Management gave me a tour and it was very impressive. This would be a great place to call home. Definitely a 5 star Retirement home!

My parents put down a deposit for an apartment here last summer. While waiting, my stepmother passed away in November. We have been trying to get the deposit back, but keep getting the run around. Do not give this place your hard earned money for a deposit in good faith, your only going to get screwed over by the thieves.
