Had a really bad experience with this shop when buying a new Santa Cruz Nomad. I used to shop at the Sydney location which was great, so I expected the same here. Short version, 3 weeks+ after purchase and after heaps of hassle I got my money back. Went on to buy a Santa Cruz from Jonny Sprockets where the customer service was awesome, the process super smooth and the bike in perfect condition as it should be! Ordered a wheelset online and unfortunately Summit's shipping partner lost it in transit. Summit helped chase it down and when it was eventually confirmed lost Cory and the team just sent a new wheelset out despite not being able to claim anything back from their shipping partner.
Being based in Brisbane I bought a used HD6 sight unseen on Cory’s advice that it was in mint condition. It arrived quickly, well packed and most importantly in mint condition as advised! … to top it off it rides perfectly!
I highly recommend Summit Cycles. Sam helped with my initial queries about a Santa Cruz Bullit and gave some good recommendations about the build kit. The price was great and transaction super easy from interstate. The bike was shipped to me and arrived in a few days. It was packaged perfectly and set up ready to go.
