Summit Bank has been phenomenal! As a Property Management Company having not just a bank but a dependable partner is essential. The team at the Redmond branch goes above and beyond—whether in person or over the phone, they’re always helpful and responsive. One of the things I appreciate most is that when you call, you’re speaking directly to someone at the branch—no endless hold times or getting transferred around. Truly a standout experience in banking.
During the pandemic, our small business did an SBA real estate loan through Summit Bank, and unfortunately, we have nothing good to say about Summit's representatives, their knowledge of SBA loans, their competence, or their interest in helping small businesses in any way (apart from their own profit). [tldr: We did an SBA loan with these folks and they made a fairly large error that resulted in our company losing a couple hundred thousand dollars. I am contractually obligated to work with this bank and have been unsatisfied. It took over 2 weeks for them to add an additional bank account to our existing line up of bank accounts. I often have to chase them around for answers, and their communication is poor. I find the whole mess quite frustrating.
