Went to Summer Ave Art & Clay for a Friday night couples class. My husband and I were one of four couples total. The event was incredibly fun and surprisingly relaxing. We laughed a lot! (Sidenote: Memphians are cool, and doing an activity with strangers was not at all awkward. Don't let that hold you back.) Z was our instructor, and he did a bang up job of simultaneously teaching and encouraging. He provided real artisan instruction but wasn't uptight about exploration or mistakes. Went here for a date night and had an AMAZING time. Our instructor Z was patient and so very helpful. It was a class with other couples and he made us all so comfortable. We are looking forward to coming back❤️
Love this place. Making a couple hand build pottery pieces can wait to see them when they are done
