i had a very bad experience with this camp. i specifically asked as extremely unimpressed with the organization and pickup/dropoff. i was informed by my child that they only got 1 hour of climbing at the adventure park due to messy logistics and an overwhelming amount of breaks.i was very unhappy to hear this given i paid for 9-12 camp. i was also told by my child their concept told them to ask their parents to pick them up at 1130 and i was extremely frustrated, given they should have told me this. while this camp may have ... read more

Boys refused to attend some of their previous summer camps, and I was excited to try Summer @ Sandy Spring - love that meals are included, and sometimes wish I could stop by for lunch too! My more introverted, older child said it was the best camp he's ever been to, and that they counselors are better and nicer than anywhere else. Time flies by so quickly when you are having fun. My children loved every second of Summer at Sandy Spring. They kept raving about the awesome chef prepared food at camp, their daily workshops and pond activities. As a parent I was extremely happy that my children came home exhausted at the end of each day and were looking forward to the next day at camp.

Camp Sandy Spring is the one camp our daughters look forward to every year! From the wide variety of activities, to the lunches provided, and friendships made - we couldn’t ask for a better reliable camp. We find the registration easy to navigate and administration helpful with questions that arise. The counselors not only closely watch the children but they also inspire them to create friendships and try new activities. The only problem is that our daughters wish they could attend more weeks. We are not local to the area or... read more
