I will never shop here again. I came all the way from Staten Island and paid $17 per pound for baklava, and it was stale. Thank God I only bought 5–6 pieces. Even the roasted hazelnuts were stale and had no taste. I ended up throwing everything in the garbage. Extremely disappointed.
This place is ridiculously expensive. Cannot compare to the other Turkish stores (which are expensive also). Wouldn’t recommend going there.
Mrs. Spata is truly a gem at Sultan Market. She is always welcoming, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Every visit feels easy and pleasant because of her positive attitude and genuine kindness. She consistently goes above and beyond to make customers feel valued. Sultan Marke is lucky to have her!
