Charming little chocolate shop. We loved the samples of milk chocolate and dark chocolate that were offered to us so much that we bought both kinds and an assortment of other confections, for ourselves and as gifts for friends. We met the business's owner and she told us about the cottage and all the candies that were attractively displayed on tables in the historic building that serves now as a business. The building was built as a home in historic Darien, a block away from historic Vernon Square.
What a treasure! The owner was very welcoming & friendly. She offered samples of whatever yummy treats we were curious about & each one was absolutely delicious! Great selection of gifts too!
Wonderful display and taste testing of specialty chocolates
A gorgeous home with a nice little display of homemade gorgeous chocolates. Perfect quick stop. We bought there classic dark chocolate with bits of toffee and a dark chocolate with the perfect amount of cherry with high quality flaky salt on top.
If you come to Darien, this is a must on your visit. Dale is a master of her craft and delivers exceptional confections here! She and her team are constantly delivering new items and they are fabulous. It is a cozy place located right on one of the squares. They also ship items in case you get home and the items you bought not make it home (Wink-happens to the best of us). They won't judge you :) The selection is growing and continues to impress!
