I think it’s interesting I have never paid my personal property taxes late. I haven’t even lived here a year and I never got one but imagine my surprise when I get a delinquent notice! Imagine trying to tell someone to pay late fees for a bill you never sent out Try me! You can get notices from the post office about mail about to be delivered and guess what never appeared

If you own your house free and clear from the mortgage company, and you do not pay your property taxes, the city will take possession of your house and land and auction it off. So, who really owns it???🤔

Taxation without representation!!! How am I a homeless vet who owes the irs money and now getting random bills in the mail, for random taxes, like property taxes. You people tax us left and right for nothing. Money obviously doesn’t go to any improvements. I can’t even save money anymore because Virginia wants to tax every little thing. This is ridiculous and unconstitutional.

I had some personal property tax (which I do not agree is in any way constitutional) to pay before registering a new vehicle. My wife made the call, got the debt paid, and was told: "alright ma'am, it's paid in full." Almost a week later, I'm still barred from registration at DMV. Yesterday I called to ask why I was still barred, and was informed that I owe "late fees and taxes".
