Complaint – Unfair Treatment & Unnecessary Payment (June 28, 2025) Dear Subway Sauna Team, I’m writing to make a complaint about an unpleasant experience I had at your sauna today, June 28, 2025. I had to step out of the sauna and return shortly after. When I came back, I was told I had to pay a $5 re-entry fee. I don’t know why guys leave low ratings here. I went Thursday and Friday night. Staff and patrons were all nice to me. Toilets were properly quite dirty

I went on a Thursday afternoon before a bear night. I have previously went to gay saunas before. Most things in the sauna seemed broken, the showers wouldn't work before the wet area, there was condoms (generally a no for sex in spa) floating in the spa with the jets of the spa not working. I ack that a wet sauna is meant to be dark but not dark enough that you can't make anyone else with to play with has makes the situation redundant. As a former patron who used to go to this place on a regular basis, it is certainly not the best place for gay men to unwind and have a good time any more. It's filthy, especially the bathrooms/toilets, and needs a major refurbishment. The spa pool needs good pressure. Some of the staff there aren't really friendly and welcoming. I have more to say, but it will become a complete rant fest.
