My Mom and I had a tour of Sturgeon Creek 1 Retirement home….yesterday. It was a fabulous experience! Thank-you Kari, you made my Mom feel right at home, lovely place!!!
Sturgeon Creek 1 was an excellent home for my mother for almost 6 years. The staff are exceptional and caring, and regularly go above and beyond. Mom required more and more care over the years, and SC was regularly willing and able to step up for Mom with her needs. The building is clean, the staff friendly, the meals were good, and the programming was excellent.
I just moved my Mom into the Sturgeon and I have been very pleased with the atmosphere and the staff at the facility. They are very responsive to any requests and they are very pleasant to deal with.

My mother has been a resident for over a year now and our experience has been exceptional. I say "ours" because I visit often. The staff is friendly and caring, and knows everyone by name. There is a large choice of activities to participate in and there are weekly "Specials" that keep ones interest up. Having a hospitality suite to stay in or cots to add to my moms room makes overnight or longer visits cost effective and comfortable. They make joining meal time easy and the food is very good!
