STUDIO 1891 INK & ART is a custom tattoo studio featuring owner and artist Joel Bauer, established in 2010. We are a safe, clean, and friendly Studio located in downtown Hayesville–in the beautiful Western North Carolina Mountains. We have expanded the studio to include local artwork, jewelry, apothecary items (including organic CBD and skincare) and retro antiques. My partner and I went in to get a pair of rainbow tattoos. When I asked where the LGBTQ, transgender safe space was they said it was unavailable, as it was already in use. We needed that room available, and will have to return at another time.
