“My foot has been hurting for weeks. I’m pretty sure I have a stress fracture from increasing my running too quickly” - “you should take an aleave because it lasts longer” - no imaging. No investigation. But this is normal here. The worst in healthcare.
The Student Health and Wellness Center is a complete letdown. Long waits, rushed appointments, and staff who don’t seem to care. UC Davis brags about supporting student well-being, but this place is just more empty talk. Don’t count on it for real help — they’ll waste your time and leave you feeling worse.
The medical staff here have always been really helpful and kind. My favorite primary care provider is Liz— I love her!! She always listens to my concerns and takes them seriously.
Terrible service. Rude health care workers who don’t care about students or patients. I hope they do some real training for these unprofessional staff.
