If I could give 0 stars I would. The IU student center is the least helpful, biggest waste of my time I have ever experienced in my entire life. The one old lady that answers the phone is so rude and sarcastic- how is she still working here? And don’t get me started on the (at least) 20+ minute wait time to even reach her. Do better IU.
The person I met with, an older lady, for financial aid questions was helpless and honestly made me feel unwelcome. First, she asked me to name a course I was in for security purposes. I named one and she gave me an extremely rude look and said “that’s not on there.” I continued to list 2 more I am in as she continuously shook her head, narrowed her eyebrows, and said those classes weren’t listed on my schedule, either. The front desk students are always friendly and helpful. However, there's an old woman who works at the station who has been extremely rude when I ask some questions.
