I’m from Ottawa and these have been one of my favourite snacks forever and until this past weekend, I have never tried a fresh, hand made one, only ever the pre-packaged ones from Adonis. To my suprise, I just happened to drive by a sign in Deep River pointing out a Farmer’s Market with a Stroop Wafel booth!!! I had to stop. We met them at Deep River Summerfest and had the chance to try their Dutch Waffles. They’re deliciously amazing! The ladies are sweet and kind as well.
