These guys know their wood. From the minute I called him on the phone I could tell he was a wood enthusiast. Right from the beginning it was all about what they've done with their wood, sending pictures of projects created from their wood, asking about what we plan to do with our wood. Well, my dad and I had been looking for a large piece of wood to do a project of our own and again, their love of wood shown through with them offering to meet us outside working hours even. I stopped by the store hoping to find a slab for a mantle project. I had no idea......this is a gold mine of product! Kenji was so helpful. He is very knowledgeable on their inventory and characteristics of the different wood slabs. Also very patient. I ended up with two pieces, each perfect for my ideas. Thanks Kenji!
I was traveling through Stockton on vacation and decided to check out Street Tree Revival. Kenji really took care of me and pointed out some wood I was looking at for a future acoustic guitar build. While I was purchasing a beautiful piece of figured Red Gum Eucalyptus, Kenji and John pointed out some California Red Fir they thought I might like. I can't say enough about the guys at Street Tree Revival and WCA. Kenji and John are super knowledgable about the slabs and sources of their wood and worked with my nonprofit to find slabs to meet our needs for a new office space. They found us local wood of different sizes and arranged quick delivery to our site and helped unload. They are big time supporters of local urban forestry efforts in Stockton and were amazing to work with on this project. Looking forward to working with them again soon
