I am not your typical student. I started Strand College of Esthetics later in life for my 2nd profession. I had carefully researched for the college to receive the best education!! I had no time to waste. It seems the largest portion of schools just teach enough to enable students to pass the State Boards. That is not the case with Strand College of Esthetics. I would not recommend this school because I was constantly bullied not only by the owner of the school, but by multiple girls in the school… the owner belittled me so bad in front of a client once that I went into a panic attack and had to cry in the bathroom and ask my mom to come pick me up because I was so upset and crying so hard I personally couldn’t drive and when I let my instructor know the owner came up into the office and told me that I’m too old to have a "temper tantrum" and to have my mother pick me up… I was qu... read more
