I bought a new bike here 3 years ago. Today on a whim I rode in and asked if they could put shorter handle bars on my bike. They said I could just keep the same handlebars and they could saw off the ends about an inch. Great advise! They shortened them, used the same grips and it feels perfect. Straight Wheel didn't even charge me because I had purchased the bike from them. Bonus that the staff are all super nice.
I got a flat tire in the middle of my road-bike ride. Since I was in a rush, I stopped here for a quick tube replacement. I was charged nearly $40—$25 for labor plus $13 for the tube—and it still took about 30 minutes. The price felt unreasonably high for such a simple repair. Unfortunately, not a good experience.
Cody and Charles were the best. They made our ride process fast and pleasant. Great quality bikes and excelllent service
Amy and all the staff are very helpful and welcoming. I am just starting in MTB and knew they’d answer honestly. That meant finding a bike my size(6’8”) and budget which turns out to be a challenge. Amy recommended some options not carried in-store. Once I got my bike, Oleg/Ulrich(not sure how to spell it) made sure everything was adjusted correctly for my size. Smooth and extremely welcoming experience!
We had a great time! Rented 2 e-bikes and 2 hybrids. The staff was super friendly and happy to answer our questions about trails and things to do in the area.
