We visited Stowe Maple Products to pick up some local maple syrup and had a really charming experience. The small, cozy shop is run by the owner himself, who was busy bottling syrup when we arrived. We picked up syrup, maple cream, and chocolate with maple syrup — all delicious, especially the chocolate, which was a standout. This was the most informative, historically interesting, and fun maple product business I would ever want to visit. What a fun time. Buy more than you think you would want because you will wish you had stocked up!
My fiancé and I visited this store in late June. It’s very small inside but they have a variety of local Vermont products. The owner was working and talked to us one on one for about 20 minutes, just giving us information about the maple syrup process and the history of how they got started.
