A small unpretentious shop in a facility where maple syrup is made. Prices are better than the nearby stores. The proprietor was friendly and gave good advice about how to properly store the syrup.
We went to Stowe last year and stopped and talked to Steve. He gave us a full lesson on maple syrup and couldn’t have been nicer about it. He explained the grades and we bought several to take home. We froze it in glass airtight jars in our freezer and it was perfect every meal. We live outside of Buffalo NY and there is a lot of maple syrup produced here but it just isn’t as good as Steve’s.
