When my great aunt was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to move from the group home she was at for years we knew we wanted her close so we could visit often. I am grateful there is a care facility like this in our tiny little town of Ridgetop! It made spending time with her much more accessible for us! Sure the building is old, BUT it is filled with workers with huge hearts like Dee! She was so compassionate to our aunt as well as our family. 1. Very well kept facility. Not new, but very clean and had NO poop smell. Other facilities I visited were just permeated with feces smells and I always felt I was breathing in more germs in a 1 hr visit than all week anywhere else. 2. Small facility so staff can take care of the patients correctly 3. Close to home for me (Greenbrier) 4. Good people - full time wound care nurse who does nothing else but wound care.
