wonderful winery We went into the winery for just a minute and stayed for the tour, how happy we did we had a great time and the wines are very good. The Cataba is one of a kind, but if you are going to drink one wine this year, make it their Stone Hill Port - unbelievable. It is by far the best port in the world for under $30, under $100 for that matter. The rest of their wines are also fantastic. We enjoyed taking the Stone Hill tour. The atmosphere and comfortable surroundings were a nice relief after the heat of the strip.T... read more

For Wine Lovers The vineyard and winery aren't actually located at this site, although they do the bottling of the sparkling wine here. The store is very large with lots of different items, but the real gem is the wine tasting room. Stone Hill is a bona fide winery with a huge selection of wines from which to choose -- all of it made in Missouri. A really fun place to go.

Tourist trap Free tours of a winery? Sounds pretty good until you realize that there is very little to tour here. You watch a short movie on the beginings of the winery, go into another room to hear how the caps are put on the bottles and then are invited to a tasting. The tasting does let you decide what you might like between all of the choices but the wines are more expensive here than in local grocery stores (same brand, same size, etc.). Staff seems very "short" on attitude and service.

Wine Have you ever seen how wine is made in modern times? This winery offers a tour through their facilities, you actually get to see where the wine is made. They have a wine tasting room, where you can taste their different wines, and decide if you want to buy any of their great wine, that they offer here. They also offer many different gifts in the lobby. I can't seem to get out of here without at least a few bottles of their great wine.
