Happy SG user for years, from back when they were a truly independent local company (before the PE acquisition). Dropped into the new space to pick something up. The staff (boys) working here DGAF. If you know what you’re looking for, you’ll be fine (the gear is as good as ever). If you’re expecting courteous staff and knowledgable product support, you’re in trouble.

Very disappointed with my experience with Stone Glacier. I was genuinely excited to place my first order, but the entire experience has been frustrating. Less than 24 hours after ordering a jacket, a Black Friday sale launched. I reached out to ask if they could honor the sale price, but I was initially given incorrect information—that the sale didn’t include the jacket. Their own website states the only exclusions are “products that are not Stone Glacier branded,” so that explanation didn’t make sense. Throughout the email ... read more
The M7 jacket cuff delaminated. I sent a request to the warranty department. Their response was to cut off the flap or glue it which ultimately voids warranty. The Company didn't stand behind their defective product. The overall value to product price is low in my opinion. I find it very difficult to make any further investments in Stone Glacier equipment given the significant uncertain around product support and warranty.
We have been loyal Stone Glacier customers for years and thoroughly enjoy their quality outdoor products which we rate a 5 plus. Today we stopped in the new store location in Bozeman and we're quite surprised that none of the faces that we had dealt with prior to the acquisition by Reevelyst were there. The three younger gentlemen that were there were quite cold and very unwelcoming.
