Very disappointed with my experience with Stone Glacier. I was genuinely excited to place my first order, but the entire experience has been frustrating. Less than 24 hours after ordering a jacket, a Black Friday sale launched. I reached out to ask if they could honor the sale price, but I was initially given incorrect information—that the sale didn’t include the jacket. The M7 jacket cuff delaminated. I sent a request to the warranty department. Their response was to cut off the flap or glue it which ultimately voids warranty. The Company didn't stand behind their defective product. The overall value to product price is low in my opinion. I find it very difficult to make any further investments in Stone Glacier equipment given the significant uncertain around product support and warranty.
We have been loyal Stone Glacier customers for years and thoroughly enjoy their quality outdoor products which we rate a 5 plus. Today we stopped in the new store location in Bozeman and we're quite surprised that none of the faces that we had dealt with prior to the acquisition by Reevelyst were there. The three younger gentlemen that were there were quite cold and very unwelcoming. Customer service is extremely poor. Since becoming more corporate, they seem to care far less about supporting their customers. I would strongly recommend doing business with another company if you have the option.
Just bought my second SG pack. After 14 years and many trips into the backcountry, and a couple thousand pounds of meat carried out, it was time to retire the old internal frame and upgrade. Now my 14-year-old son is using it, here’s to another 14 years!
