We have been loyal Stone Glacier customers for years and thoroughly enjoy their quality outdoor products which we rate a 5 plus. Today we stopped in the new store location in Bozeman and we're quite surprised that none of the faces that we had dealt with prior to the acquisition by Reevelyst were there. The three younger gentlemen that were there were quite cold and very unwelcoming. Customer service is extremely poor. Since becoming more corporate, they seem to care far less about supporting their customers. I would strongly recommend doing business with another company if you have the option.
Just bought my second SG pack. After 14 years and many trips into the backcountry, and a couple thousand pounds of meat carried out, it was time to retire the old internal frame and upgrade. Now my 14-year-old son is using it, here’s to another 14 years!
I bought this HyperDry Sleeping bag last year. Very high quality and toasting warm. The help at the store was great. I love supporting local business like this and it is so nice that they put out such high quality sleeping bags. I took this bag on a week long backpacking trip and it is the perfect balance between warm and yet light enough to carry a full 9 days.
While the pack itself seems well-made, the customer support was extremely disappointing. According to their sizing guide, a 30-inch waist should fit either a small or medium hip belt. Since I wear size 30 pants with a belt, I ordered the small. However, after a short hike, the belt became painful on my hips. When I reached out to their support team, they told me I had the wrong size and needed a medium.
