Come on down for horseback riding lessons, hayrack rides pulled by draft horses, trail rides into beautiful Chatfield state park, western parties / picnics and enjoy our western town, horse boarding facility. Close to town yet a country feel. The ranch has a western town picnic area with tipi's and antique farm equipment, plus a pond.

I love it! Stockton's Plum Creek Stables is the best place to learn Western riding. I have been going there for 4 years, and am soon going to board a horse there. The instructors are friendly, nice, and are know exactly what they're doing. They don't make you go beyond your comfort level and are extremely helpful. The horses there are awesome, and you learn how to handle them expertly. Stockton's is amazing, go visit sometime!
Horrible Experience I tried to sign up my daughter for a class through these stables. It was cancelled due to "lack of participation". So I then called and tried to get information about private lessons but received no return call. A few days later I again left a message, but again received no call back.
Greatest place ever!!!!! I board at Stockten's, and think it is a wonderful place. The people there are great! My horse loves it there and so do I. My friends think that the lessons there are perfect and it will always be a good place to board!! They take great care of the horses and they are always fed and watered!! So if you are looking for a place to board your horse come to Stockton's Plum Creek Stables! Oh and the trails are absolutely fantastic!!
