We decided to stay the night I'm Texas at the Stockman Hotel, rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need and are spotless, price is excellent, the pub itself is very cool and the staff welcomed us with that beautiful country hospitality. Location is main street of town. If you are heading to Texas (QLD), this is the place to stay, eat and play.

This is a beautiful pub with a great vibe. People are Uber friendly and the food was tip top. The pub ain't that old but the style employed inside is sympathetic with an older vibe I just don't have a bad thing to say about it except I wish the windows upstairs were not translucent so as the view could be experienced as I reckon it would be bloody mint.

I had the best vego burger of my life here!! It was so tasty and I live 6 hours from here which is truly devastating. My friends had a parmigiana and schnitzel and they loved their meals too. The service is great and the atmosphere is fun! We're also staying here and rooms are nice, the beds are comfy, and there is a common area to enjoy! Highly recommend a visit to Texas to check it out!
