I went there today and WOW! What an incredible store. The woman working helped me frog my hat and then showed me the yarn I needed for my next project. Truly - the best customer service and so kind! Thank you!!
amazing yarn selection, very friendly staff. I loved that they had projects of both knit and crochet of each yarn type to give you an idea of how it works up and feels.
Decent selection of products but the salesperson was very pushy in explaining everything even when I let them know I truly was not looking for additional explanation. It was overwhelming feeling like we were being followed around and made me less interested in looking closely at anything lest I have to wait through another explanation I did not request.
Today Cameron showed me nothing but patience. She helped me troubleshoot my work and technique with such grace and expertise. She is a gift to the community!
Made a special day trip back to Bozeman just to shop here and it was worth it! Our house sitter asked to be paid in local yarn (we are knitters) and this shop did not disappoint. We tried looking in Red Lodge and other towns around Yellowstone but *this* was what I was looking for. If you want Montana yarns in this part of the state, come to Stix Yarn!
