Been using for years. Always busy which I take as a good sign! So don’t leave till last minute although she does express service at extra cost. Alterations brilliantly done.
We used this service to repair the strap on my bag. Repair was done, but the lady sewed it on without feeding it through the loop first, meaning the tightening doesn't work. That wouldn't be the end of the world but when we pointed it out, instead of an apology and a simple fix, we got an awful attitude and were told it was our fault because she'd been rushed. yet she'd had the bag for weeks, we'd paid upfront and it was less only about 1cm of stitching. They have just done a very really beautiful job of lining a lovely but itchy traditional wool dressing gown. When I got home I notice that they had removed and refitted the makers label to the lining. What a professional touch!!!
I had a dress taken up and made into a waterfall effect. This lady did an amazing job, I’m very pleased with the result.
