We went to the St George Tweed City with a bag of coins already counted up in the correct denominations. We went to the help desk to ask which cashier to go to and that it was already counted and the lovely young man said that we didn't have to do it that way anymore as the ATM had a coin deposit system where you put the coins into a tray and then tilted it up and the ATM counted it as we went. Each coin denomination was displayed on the screen how much of each one and you could put the coins in the tray mixed it sorted them... read more
Just went into tweed city branch. Son was there to swap some coins for notes. We had the most lovely helpful staff member help my son step by step counting coins and bagging them. She helped him count all his coins and our overall experience in this branch has been excellent. The staff really go the extra mile in customer service. We are so happy to be banking with st george .
After standing in line for sometime I was eventually served by a pleasant young man to whom I presented a lot of coins to be deposited into my account.After attempting to count (I had the coins in appropriate bags given to me by the bank in correct denominations)it all he finally gave up saying the bags I had were either over or under. He called on the manager who gave my money back and holding up 2 bags showing me the discrepancies.
