I stopped in on October 29, unannounced, and Les wasted no time helping me. Even though he had two other customers at the counter, he professionally and courteously helped all of us! He went through my pile of coins and jewelry and didn't make me feel unknowledgeable--and he gave me a VERY fair price! I felt like I had known him for years. Highly recommend!

I have been buying and selling coins from Mr. Les Stevenson, and his coin shop, Stevenson Rare Coins for over eight years now.. Les Stevenson, is a Pro's Pro ! And Stevenson Rare Coins, is an amazing shop.. If Les doesn't have exactly what you are looking for - He can find it. As nice a fellow as one could hope to meet, Les is a true asset to the Asheville community, and we are very luck to have him.

Best coin shop I've ever traded in. Les is very knowledgeable and extremely honest in dealing with his customers. Also he always has interesting items in his shop to evoke discussions you won't find in other stores like betchler coins, historical letters from the civil war and old confederate money just to name a few.

Stevensons coin shop is the best coin shop in the Asheville area!!! Les and Van are wonderful guys. They always have amazing coin's and note's at fair prices, unlike the other coin shops in the area. I always have a few good laughs when I visit them. You really couldn't ask for a better coin shop. They will always get my business. Now the other coin shops in the area will never get my business. They are all over priced and rude! So go visit Les and Van! Tell them I sent you.
