The in-house designer Geri was very knowledgeable and her sense of color spot on. She treated me and my husband very respectfully without pretension. This is the opposite of the experience we have had at the smaller upscale furniture store down the road. The retail workers at this competitor are very snooty and judgemental of who walks in the door. I would recommend Geri to anyone looking for a talented designer to help with furnishing their home.
We ordered a couch from Steven Shell at the end of March and were told it would take 8 to 10 weeks for it to arrive. After 10 weeks passed with no update, we called for a status. No one seemed to know where our couch was — they just kept repeating that their system showed an 8 to 10 week lead time.
