Mike & Denise D. HORRIBLE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband went to cash an insurance check made payable to both of us. The only reason we were at this branch is because the one closest to our home was not open yet and we're buying a car near this branch. I had already signed the back of the check, he had a copy of my dl, both of our names are on all accounts, including a credit card account. They refused to cash the check because I was not present. Horrible customer service; fraudulent banking practices Well, first off, Bank of America fails to tell you when you make a deposit that they will place a hold on YOUR funds. (They hold them for an entire WEEK, not just five days. They pull up every excuse in the book: after hours, ATM, weekend. That way they can still squeeze the orange to keep all your funds as long as possible.)
