I had rods and screws put in my L4 and L5 in September 2020. Still in severe pain and unable to work, bend over, can only walk a short distance without stopping to ease the pain a bit, can't grocery shop, drive, trim my toenails, lift over 5 lbs,etc. Had to go on disability. Overall I am worse than before surgery.
My wife was seen 3 weeks ago after getting a referral from almamance regional hospital she had a MRI done and the doctor at the hospital said she had a slip disc so they referred us to Dr cook took 3 weeks to been seen by him. First thing he said to us was I don't do surgery on the first visit and I don't prescribe narcotic pain med I was like we didn't ask for pain medicine I just want my wife to be able walk she has no feeling in her leg .
