Sounds like I had a similar experience as Neville Daniels below. I couldn't even get to the issue I wanted to discuss with him as he spent the whole call attacking my character as I was trying to provide the context for the issue I wanted to discuss. He couldn't follow the details and focused on insulting me instead. I'd ask pointed questions to try to direct the conversation and he'd focus on something completely irrelevant to attack my character.
