These guys fired or strongly recommended finding a new firm after violating my HIPPA Rights in a supposed Mediation that I was not given the 10 days to prepare for. It was less than 72 hours notice, and when I appeared on Zoom the coming Monday at 1 PM where Walter Told me how it was going to work after realizing I couldn’t get my microphone didn’t work so he, Walter said that he would do a 3 way call between himself, opposing counsel and myself. Sherry the paralegal here is cold and un empathetic with perspective clients that she feels, don’t have any merit to their case and spent 10 minutes, belittling me and not considering any facts that I brought up to ask why those didn’t make any solid points legally to her. I called Steve Smith’s law firm and was appointed with Walter Foster for a simple eviction case which he charged me a $5,000 retainer and knew he’d have to travel to Knox County court house, a 45-60 minute drive. Walter and I never met before the case and only had one 15 minute consultation. Walter said he was charging me $400/hr and $270/hr for his paralegal at the time, Zoey. Steve overbilled and was not helpful at all. We accomplished nothing. He met with me while he was in a mediation with another attorney and kept telling me stories about how he shot this cat in front of his church and a SWAT team came to his house and how he was angry at the SWAT team leader and just basically told me tons of stories and didn't help me with my case at all. When I filed a complaint they told me to go pound sand
