Called Oregon State Bar and was referred to Steve C Baldwin. I made the call to Steve and before he even new my purpose for calling had heard my wife in the background, as I have a very helpful wife, God bless her. Mr. Baldwin immediately demanded to know who that was in the background and how she was involved in the case this was before he even knew the purpose of my phone call, or what my name was. I was referred to Steven Baldwin by the Oregon State Bar. When he returned my call, he asked up front if I was going to pay the $35 fee for 30 minutes and I said "Yes", which I thought was implied by me calling him in the first place. Immediately into the call he said there was almost zero possibility of him taking me on, which he said had nothing to do with me but everything to do with the fact he was 70 years old and wanted fewer, not more cases.
