This is not a good place. When searching for a place to care for my mom, so many people urged us to stay away from here. Fortunately we listened. Unfortunately, a couple people I know, there loved one was placed here and it didnt end well. Sad.

My brother was sent to the care facility with a broken arm and dementia. His paperwork was lost on the first day. His clothes disappeared along with a new fleece blanket. We were told that his name would be ironed on his clothes but they were never returned. We had to ask for a urinal and they had trouble finding one. He lost 10 lbs when he was in their care - he had a broken arm and couldn’t cut food but it sat in front of him with no help. His mood changed dramatically after a week. My grandma is at sterling park and she says they are pushing her out they have her doing physical therapy and tell her she's doing great yet she says she cant really do them and they told her she will be out soon but she keeps telling them she doesn't feel like she is ready or equipped yet but they do not listen not 1 bit If I was in charge of her care I'd remove her and bring her somewhere else

I worked here for 3 months and I did not like one thing about this place. I was charged $30 multiple times for a meal ticket to eat and I sat and watched my coworkers sit down and eat with the residents during breakfast and lunch , mind you no Charge. My white co worker went on his lunch break during lunch time for the residents very busy time and yet he still has a job , not only Did he leave a resident in the tub room but the resident was locked in the tub room For a least 45 mins and he still has a job, because he follows... read more
