I can say with absolute certainty that the five-star reviews are fake, most likely created using fake accounts by the owners. As a former employee who worked there for three years, I strongly advise against placing a loved one in this facility. Unfortunately, neglect and a severe lack of proper care are common issues—not due to the nurses or GNAs, but because of poor management. My father who has stage 4 cancer was admitted to this facility yesterday from the hospital. It’s is 2pm and he has yet to receive any pain medication both PRN and routine, nor has his blood sugar been assessed, morning or afternoon routine medication been passed and no antibiotics received . My sister spoke with DON prior to admission who ensured he would receive the best care at this facility - this has not been our experience thus far!! I visit Sterling Care often and always have a great experience working with nurses Amy and Amarachi and GNA Patrina. They’re always helpful and friendly, and they care so much for their residents and treat them with care and respect.

For the past few years my father has been at the facility there has been SO MUCH turnover. However, there has been one constant to help with any and ever question I have and that was Ms. Keisha Chase. I’m just going to call her the backbone of Sterling. Sometimes when you’re dealing with these facilities, you never know what to expect but I can honestly say her guidance/leadership with Demi as well, have been major keys! Sterling is extremely lucky to have her and Demi on staff.
