Absolutely crooked store with the worst customer service in Sitka, which is really saying something if you’ve lived here more than a couple years. We purchased a 17cf freezer for $900. They delivered a 14cf freezer. When I showed them the sales receipt with the model number for a 17cf freezer and the price we paid, the old lady just said oh well, price tags get moved around all the time and said we paid for the 14cf so that’s what we got even though the salesperson took the price tag off the 17cf freezer when selling it to u... read more
I'm not one for leaving bad reviews, but here we go. I purchased a 65" TV on sale for $750 from stereo north without opening it and checking it. From there, I put it on a 58' boat, on which it was wrapped and put in a safe place. We had a flat calm ride home, brought it into my house, and opened it to find it incredibly broken. On my life, this TV was handled incredibly gently and with care. Bought this refrigerator for $40 less than Walmart price and $100 less than Best Buy down south. Great people and great prices.
Bought a speaker here and tried to return it the next day after having a change of mind. The older lady at the front desk yelled at me and demeaned me and of course did not consider taking the speaker back even though it was brand new in the packaging. I was genuinely frightened and resolved to never set foot back there again. Horrible place.
Fantastic help and kind to us. Helped me pick out my stereo equipment for my truck and offered to box it up for us. Would recommend to everyone looking to get furniture, other appliances, and car stereo equipment
