I was here in like 1982 or 83 for 3 months at which time I got drunk on New Year’s …Linda - an RN and recovering alcoholic- ran the place. My experience with this place happened almost 25 years ago. I was court ordered to go here- and, I am a type 1 diabetic, which it seemed did not matter to these people. My bloodsugars were off the wall while getting off the drug I was using, which is not surprising. One day, my bloodsugar was above 300- which isn't good. They would not give me insulin to lower it, so they sent me to the hospital and I received insulin and a test kit.
