Update (2 months later): Received most unprofessionally lengthy email response not worth quoting, to my “continued” requests to stop harassing me with emails regarding property tax bill on house I no longer own. One negative example of dealing with a small town: she is untouchable (behavior is allowed). Rude. Typical demeanor as with other Freeport city offices. So glad I sold my house.

Tried to turn in a bid for a listing in the property auction, Lady was a grump. Get people in there that want to work and be of help to people.
Phone demeanor and customer service needs improvement. I believe it is part of your job to aproperly assist residents with questions about their property tax bill.
