No one wants to go to a hospital. We had to go to Stephen’s Memorial Hospital on Thursday night on an emergent issue. I have nothing but the highest praise for the emergency room staff and, quite frankly, every staff person I encountered. After an agonizing night of tests, my spouse was moved to ICU. During our night in the ER I, in my haste to get him to the hospital,I locked us out. By far the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. It’s close so I’ve been there several times for emergencies but tonight topped everything. I’m legit fuming. I seriously hope patients get the care they need and take steps to hold these people accountable. I 100% believe this place needs to be shut down or completely cleaned out and under new management and professional care. Outstanding! From EMS, to ER, Orthopedic and nursing staff! Emergency room via ambulance from a fall at a mine resulting in a broken hip and requiring an emergency full hip replacement. The team not only took care of me, but stepped in and assisted my special needs adult daughter and her service dos until her dad arrived from over 4 hours away! Ending up breaking my femural neck from a big fall from a fast moving golf cart and had to get emergency ORIF surgery. Nurses were beyond kind, caring, and thoughtful. If you need emergency care, come here.
