I just moved to Stephen’s county and this office makes me regret purchasing a home here! It is my first time purchasing a used utility trailer so I have no idea what all needs to happen for me to get it registered. I looked online to get answers but I am trying to be proactive to avoid any issues. I’m trying to call to make sure I take all documents needed or do whatever I need to do before going there. Never had to wait in line more than a minute or 2, usually no wait. Staff always kind and courteous and helpful.
Such an unpleasant visit.
This entire county is garbage. My property was broken into. My vehicles stolen. My sheds burnt to the ground and they ONLY contact me to PAY them tax money. I hate this county
I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life. I called today to ask a question about get my tag switch from Habersham to Stephens county to be greeted with “I’m sorry we can’t help you sorry we are closed due to systems update” then “click”. This happened twice no opportunity to even speak. If these were recorded messages then it’s was the most unprofessional recording I’ve ever heard.
