We have all made mistakes*** My son made bad choices which landed him in jail. I hired an attorney Evan Hoffman, I asked him to lower the weekly payments and he dropped the case after collecting over $3,000. So, the judge gave my son's case to Mr. Melnick. Steve did an awesome job handling my case . He was up front and honest of what he was going to do and potential outcome. He charged me a reasonable amount. He handled and went to my court dates and kept me informed and got me a great deal with the state. I’m honestly grateful for his services. It is my belief that this attorney drove my boyfriend, who was in mental health court, to suicide. Then, I asked for $1,000 back that I paid him for a hearing to remove my boyfriend's ankle monitor. Stephen Melnick told my boyfriend in person that the judge never removes monitors from people in mental health court. There was never a hearing and he won't give me my money back.
